Details
  • About 21 × 18 × 13 cm
  • Three spinning treat drums on a ridged base
  • Drums lift out and open for rinsing
  • Grip bumps underneath
  • Colours: yellow, green or pink
  • Sent from the UK

Open the drums, drop in a handful of your dog's dry food or small treats, and set the feeder on the floor. Each drum spins freely in both directions on a triangular stand. When your dog pushes one round with a paw or nose, a few pieces fall out through the holes and land among the ridges on the base, where they have to be picked out one at a time.

It measures about 21 × 18 × 13 cm and weighs under half a kilo. The base has raised grips underneath to help it stay put on hard floors. The drums lift out and open, so you can rinse out crumbs in warm soapy water.

Getting started

Show your dog a treat going in and give the first drum a turn yourself. Most dogs work it out within a few goes. Count what goes in as part of your dog's daily food.

Safety
  • Supervise your dog while they use it. It is a feeder, not a chew toy.
  • Stop using it if any part cracks or breaks.
  • Use dry food or small treats that fall through the holes easily.
  • Wash it regularly so old food does not build up inside the drums.

Pairs well with

More slow-down mealtimes: a slow feeder bowl, a suction lick mat or a fleece snuffle ball.
