A deep, padded grey plush bed for the car seat. The raised back and rolled sides give a small dog something to lean on, and the base has a non-slip underside. It measures about 55 cm wide, 40 cm deep and 30 cm high at the back.

A short strap with a metal clip is sewn into the seat. Clip it to your dog's harness so they stay in the bed rather than wandering around the car.

It works as a dog bed at home too. Shake it out or brush it down after use; for a deeper clean, follow the care label.

Size guide

It suits small dogs that can lie down comfortably in a 55 × 40 cm bed, such as the toy poodle in our photos. Measure your dog lying down before you order.

Safety
  • Clip the tether to a harness, never to a collar: a sudden stop puts the whole load on your dog's neck.
  • Not crash-tested. It helps keep your dog in place on normal journeys; it is not designed or tested to protect your dog in a collision. The Highway Code asks that dogs are suitably restrained in a vehicle, for example with a crash-tested harness, crate or dog guard.
  • Do not put it on a front passenger seat with an active airbag.
  • Check the strap and clip before every journey, and stop using it if either is worn or damaged.
  • Never leave your dog alone in a car: cars heat up quickly even on mild days.

Pairs well with

A folding ramp to help them in, or a back seat hammock for bigger passengers.
